Summary

Establishing the Public Fishery Pilot Program; requiring the Department of Natural Resources, in coordination with the Oyster Advisory Commission, to develop and operate the Program; providing that the purpose of the Program is to increase oyster abundance and to enhance oyster seed and substrate in certain fisheries; requiring, on approval by the Commission, the operation of the Program in certain protected oyster sanctuaries; requiring a report on the Program to the Governor and General Assembly by October 1 each year; etc.
