An Act to Freeze Toll Increases.



                Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

            SECTION 1. (a) The power of the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority to fix and revise tolls, as established in Subsections (i) and (j) of Section 4 and Section 10 of Chapter 81A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, shall be suspended from the date of this act until December 31, 2009 or until comprehensive transportation reform legislation is passed by the Legislature, if that occurs prior to December 31, 2009.
