Summary

Amend KRS 6.072 to permit a committee, subcommittee, or task force of the General Assembly to administer oaths, issue subpoenas, interview persons, or require the productions of books, papers, and documents pertaining to a legislative purpose within the committee's, subcommittee's, or task force's jurisdiction; require approval from a majority of the entire membership of the committee, subcommittee, or task force to issue a subpoena, interview persons, receive evidence, or compel production of books, papers, or documents; permit the committee, subcommittee, or task force to petition to the Franklin Circuit Court for relief and sanctions if a person fails to testify or comply with an issued request.
