Summary

Create a new section of KRS Chapter 164 to establish the Innovative Teacher Education Grant Program for school years 2024 through 2026; require the Council on Postsecondary Education to administer the grant program; require the council to create a process for awarding grants; require the council to report to the Interim Joint Committee on Education by December 1, 2025, an evaluation of implementation; establish requirements for Kentucky colleges and universities to participate in the program; provide that the Act may be cited as the Innovative Teacher Education Act; APPROPRIATION; EMERGENCY.
