Bill Title: Establishing the Kansas closed case task force; creating the Kansas criminal justice reform commission; concerning criminal history record checks for entities providing care to children, the elderly or individuals with disabilities; creating a Kansas victim information and notification everyday (VINE) coordinator, a Kansas youth suicide prevention coordinator, and a crime victims compensation division within the office of the attorney general; legislative review of exceptions to disclosure of public records under the Kansas open records act; and changing tort claims fund obligations for claims involving alleged violations of the Kansas open meetings act and open records act.
