Establishes responsibilities for the director of the division of outdoor recreation concerning the following: (1) Coordination of outdoor recreation policy. (2) Promotion of economic development. (3) Recommending to the governor and general assembly policies and initiatives to enhance recreational amenities and experiences in the state. (4) Preparation of an annual report on the economic, social, and community impact of the outdoor recreation industry across the state. (5) Developing strategies to increase the number of new jobs related to outdoor recreation and to address workforce issues.
