SENATE RESOLUTION

     MADAM PRESIDENT:

    I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:

    A SENATE RESOLUTION recognizing Valena Clauss on her retirement from teaching.

     Whereas, Valena Clauss, a kindergarten teacher at North Liberty Elementary School, is retiring;

    Whereas, Mrs. Clauss has taught for 39 years;

    Whereas, Mrs. Clauss is an outstanding kindergarten teacher at North Liberty Elementary School. Her classroom is both educational and energizing;

    Whereas, Mrs. Clauss' warm smile, pleasant demeanor, and strong work ethic have served her students and North Liberty Elementary School well over the years; and

    Whereas, Valena Clauss is a dedicated teacher, and her contributions will be dearly missed by the students, staff, and administration at North Liberty Elementary School: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

    SECTION 1. The Indiana Senate recognizes Valena Clauss on her retirement from teaching.
    SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Valena Clauss.
