A SENATE RESOLUTION recognizing the many accomplishments of Senator Sue Errington.

MADAM PRESIDENT:
I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:
A SENATE RESOLUTION recognizing the many
accomplishments of Senator Sue Errington.
Whereas, Senator Sue Errington worked tirelessly on
behalf of the constituents of Senate District 26;
Whereas, First elected to the Indiana Senate in 2006,
Senator Errington has served on the Education and Career
Development Committee, Energy and Environmental Affairs
Committee, and Utilities and Technology Committee, and has
served as Ranking Minority Member on the Health and
Provider Services Committee;
Whereas, In addition to her work in the Senate, Senator
Errington has served on the Delaware County Council, the
Mayor's Affirmative Action Task Force, the Mayor's Advisory
Committee on Health Education, the City-County
Commission Against Domestic Violence, the Delaware
County Community Corrections Board, the Muncie Housing
Authority, and the Muncie Action Plan (MAP);
Whereas, While serving in the Senate, Senator Errington
worked diligently to help fund Indiana's schools and make
college more affordable and health care more accessible and
affordable for all Hoosiers; and
Whereas, Senator Errington has dedicated her life to helping others: Therefore,
SECTION 1. That the Indiana Senate thanks Senator Sue
Errington for her dedication to the people of her district and the state
of Indiana and for her many contributions to the welfare of our state
and its citizens.
SECTION 2. That copies of this resolution be transmitted by the
Secretary of the Senate to Senator Sue Errington and her family.
