    Whereas, Brody the Bear, a 1400 pound Alaskan brown bear, is one of Jeff's bears that has been in or on countless news programs, entertainment programs, and international magazines, including: the cover of National Geographic Magazine, July 2001; The Tonight Show, on NBC; The Today Show, also on NBC; Good Morning America, on ABC; Walker,

Texas Ranger, on CBS; The Jeff Corwin Experience, on Animal Planet; Amazing Animal Videos, also on Animal Planet; P.T. Barnum, on A&E, and Motion Picture Grizzly Park;

    Whereas, J&L Bruins has brought film, media, and conservation crews from Great Britain, Tokyo, Los Angeles, New York, and every place in between to see their bears, thus generating thousands of dollars of revenue for Indiana businesses;

    Whereas, J&L is a lawfully USDA licensed entity and has an exceptional track record of providing the appropriate care for their animals as required by the Animal Welfare Act: Therefore,
