SENATE RESOLUTION

     MADAM PRESIDENT:

    I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:

    A SENATE RESOLUTION honoring Ted Little on his retirement from the Wabash County Council after 28 years of dedicated service to the community.

    Whereas, For nearly three decades, Ted Little has been a strong voice in the Wabash County community. He has been an extraordinary representative and community leader, while serving as a member of the County Council;

    Whereas, In recognition of his stance on term limits, Ted has decided to step down from his at-large seat on the Wabash County Council, rather than run for re-election. As an advocate for term limits at the state and federal levels, Ted Little has decided to follow by example, moving aside to allow room for new leadership; and

    Whereas, Ted's absence will be sorely felt, as his leadership has ushered the county through many challenges. The satisfaction and honor Ted felt to serve his community is undoubtedly mutual: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

    SECTION 1. That the Indiana Senate congratulates Ted Little on his retirement from the Wabash County Council following 28 years as a public servant.
    SECTION 2. That the Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Ted Little.
