A SENATE RESOLUTION congratulating Madeline Plesac, Miss
Indiana Teen USA 2010.

MADAM PRESIDENT:
I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:
A SENATE RESOLUTION congratulating Madeline Plesac, Miss
Indiana Teen USA 2010.
Whereas, On November 1st, 2009, Chesterton High
School senior Madeline Plesac was crowned Miss Indiana
Teen USA 2010;
Whereas, Madeline was encouraged to enter the pageant
by a family friend who is also a former Miss Indiana USA;
Whereas, During the pageant, the contestants were
evaluated based on their personal interview, swimsuit
competition, and evening gown competition;
Whereas, The 3-day event was held at the Renaissance
Hotel in Carmel, Indiana. Madeline outscored 25 young
women from across the state to win the crown;
Whereas, In addition to competing in pageants, Madeline
is a member of the Chesterton High School orchestra, the
National Honor Society, and the cheerleading squad.
She
also enjoys creating unique greeting cards and gifts,
community service activities, shopping, and traveling;
Whereas, In the future, Madeline plans to pursue a
career in health care; and
Whereas, By winning Miss Indiana Teen USA 2010,
Madeline Plesac will move on to represent Hoosiers at the
Miss Teen USA pageant in July: Therefore,
SECTION 1. The Indiana Senate congratulates Madeline Plesac
for winning Miss Indiana Teen USA 2010 and wishes her well when
she competes in the Miss Teen USA pageant in July.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to
transmit a copy of this Resolution to Madeline Plesac.
