    A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION recognizing the 100th anniversary of Fayette Regional Hospital.

    Whereas, Fayette Regional Hospital was founded on April 13, 1913 and has provided patients with exceptional care ever since;

    Whereas, The hospital boasts Surgical Care, Cancer Care, Acute Rehabilitation, the Center for Facial Plastics, and Diagnostic Imaging, with the area's largest and fastest MRI, and the Women's Center;

    Whereas, Fayette Regional strives to enhance the health of the community and the quality of life of the residents;

    Whereas, Last year, 16,900 patients visited the hospital's emergency room; the hospital had a total of 2,264 admissions; and physicians performed 514 inpatient and 1,502 outpatient surgeries; and

    Whereas, Fayette Regional Hospital has been enhancing the lives of its patients since 1913 and will certainly continue to do so for the next 100 years: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate     of the General Assembly

of the State of Indiana, the House of Representatives     concurring:



    SECTION 1. The Indiana General Assembly recognizes the 100th anniversary of Fayette Regional Hospital.
    SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to President and CEO Randy White, Board of Trustees Chair Louise Whitaker, Jim Suhre, and Members of the Board of Trustees.
