Bill Title: Operation of safety rest areas. Requires the office of tourism development and the Indiana department of transportation (INDOT) to enter into a memorandum of understanding under which the office of tourism development will assume the responsibility of operating safety rest areas. Provides that the terms of a memorandum of understanding concerning the operation of safety rest areas must provide that INDOT retains ownership of real property acquired to construct safety rest areas.
