A HOUSE RESOLUTION urging the legislative council to assign the topic of trails, greenways, and bikeways to an interim study committee.

Whereas, There are now many trails, greenways, and bikeways crisscrossing the state; and

Whereas, These trails, greenways, and bikeways affect many property owners whose property is adjacent to or nearby: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

    SECTION 1. That the legislative council is urged to assign the topic of trails, greenways, and bikeways to an interim study committee.
    SECTION 2. That if the topic is assigned to an interim study committee, the committee shall study the issues of maintenance, jurisdiction, and right of way of trails, greenways, and bikeways.
    SECTION 3. That if the topic is assigned to an interim study

committe, the committee shall operate under the direction of the legislative council and that the committee shall issue such reports as directed by the council.
