    A HOUSE RESOLUTION urging the Legislative Council to form a new interim study committee for the purpose of studying the topic of revising Indiana statutes governing healthcare practitioners' scope of practice with respect to the increasing need for access to healthcare.     
    Whereas, Indiana law currently sets limits to the scope of practice of healthcare professionals;

    Whereas, These limits may artificially limit the availability of healthcare to patients in need of it; and,

    Whereas, The complexity of this topic requires its study by a group especially composed for that purpose: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

    SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives urges the Legislative Council to establish a new interim study committee for the

purpose of studying Indiana law governing healthcare practitioners' scope of practice with respect to the increasing need for access to healthcare.
