        A HOUSE RESOLUTION recognizing Deputy Dillon McDaniel.
    

    Whereas, Great acts of bravery like those performed by Deputy Dillon McDaniel should not go unrecognized;

    Whereas, On January 13, 2013, Deputy Dillon McDaniel was called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident, being advised that a vehicle was upside down in the water;

    Whereas, Upon arriving at the scene, Deputy McDaniel observed that the vehicle was upside down and almost submerged;

    Whereas, Without concern for his own safety, Deputy

McDaniel worked to retrieve the vehicle from the water so the driver could be rescued; and

    Whereas, Deputy Dillon McDaniel is a true Hoosier hero: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

    SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives wishes to thank Deputy Dillon McDaniel for his great bravery and to congratulate him on a job well done.
    SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit copies of this resolution to Deputy Dillon McDaniel.
