        A RESOLUTION recognizing the Short Associates Insurance Agency.
    

    Whereas, The Short Associates Insurance Agency was founded in 1962 by Donald L. Short;

    Whereas, For 18 years, Donald Short worked to grow the agency into one of the top insurance agencies in the Fort Wayne area;

    Whereas, Joined by his son Steve in 1980, the company expanded to include a property and casualty division;

    Whereas, Through the hard work and dedicated service of Donald and Steve, Short Associates Insurance Agency soon

represented many property and casualty companies, with ERIE Insurance Group being one of the main underwriters, making Short Associates one of the first ERIE agents established in Fort Wayne; and

    Whereas, Donald and Steve Short have served the citizens of Fort Wayne with integrity and honor for many years: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

    SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives congratulates the Short Associates Insurance Agency for 50 years of dedicated service to the Fort Wayne area community and its residents.
    SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit copies of this resolution to Donald and Steve Short.
