A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning
education.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

SECTION 1. IC 21-43-5-10, AS ADDED BY P.L.234-2007,
SECTION 66, IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE
JULY 1, 2011]: Sec. 10.
(a) The commission for higher education
may set a cap on student fees for courses taken under this program
and taught by high school teachers in a high school setting.
(b) A state educational institution may grant financial assistance,
including a waiver of tuition not otherwise covered by IC 21-14-8, to
a student for courses taken under this program based on:
(1) the student's financial need;
(2) the student's academic achievement; or
(3) any other criteria.
