Bill Title: Religious motivated crimes. Provides that a person commits the offense of a religious motivated crime if the person knowingly or intentionally: (1) causes bodily injury to another person; or (2) damages the property of another person; because of the other person's actual or perceived religion or creed. Provides that the state may seek either a death sentence or a sentence of life imprisonment without parole if the murder was a result of a religious motivated crime.
