Bill Title: Local government budget notices; public records. Reinstates the following expired statutes concerning local government budget notices through 2020: (1) A provision that if the budget notice is not timely published due to the fault of a newspaper, the notice is a valid notice if it is published one time at least three days before the budget hearing. (2) A provision allowing the department of local government finance (DLGF) to correct certain errors or omissions that cause the budget notice to inaccurately reflect the tax rate, tax levy, or budget of a political subdivision.
