Summary

Reduces from ten to eight the number of years of creditable service a member of the public employees' retirement fund (PERF) must earn to obtain vested status. Reduces the minimum monthly retirement benefit for a PERF member from $180 with 10 years of creditable service to $144 with eight years of creditable service.
