Bill Title: Amends the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act. In a provision stating that the privileged quality of communication between a professional person required to report suspected child abuse or neglect and his or her patient or client shall not apply to situations involving abused or neglected children and shall not constitute grounds for failure to report as required by the Act or constitute grounds for failure to share information or documents with the Department of Children and Family Services during the course of a child abuse or neglect investigation, creates an exception for privileged communication between an attorney and his or her client. Effective immediately.
