2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Fred E. Ledebuhr of Elgin, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on September 21, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Fred Ledebuhr was born on September 3, 1932 in | ||||||
6 | Chicago; his parents were Valeria Gohr Ledebuhr and Fred Otto | ||||||
7 | Ledebuhr; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Fred Ledebuhr was a home builder and a co-owner of | ||||||
9 | the Pace Construction Company for many years until his | ||||||
10 | retirement; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Fred Ledebuhr was a member of Elgin Elks Lodge | ||||||
12 | 737, the Elgin Rotary Club, and the Elgin Riverside Club; he | ||||||
13 | was also a member of the Illinois National Guard for 12 years | ||||||
14 | and a member of the Kane County Board for 16 years; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Fred Ledebuhr loved boating, fishing, water | ||||||
16 | skiing, water polo, traveling, horseshoes, golf, and playing | ||||||
17 | cards; he was also a private pilot; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Fred Ledebuhr was preceded in death by his | ||||||
19 | parents; his sister, Lois Iversen; his brother, Kurt (Elaine) | ||||||
20 | Ledebuhr; and his niece, Wendy Iversen; and

1 | WHEREAS, Fred Ledebuhr is survived by his wife of 59 years, | ||||||
2 | Evelyn Kozin Ledebuhr; his daughter, Charlene (Dave) Fink; his | ||||||
3 | son, Mark; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Lindsey, and Ryan; | ||||||
4 | therefore, be it

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
7 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Fred E. Ledebuhr; and | ||||||
8 | be it further
| ||||||
9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
10 | presented to the family of Fred Ledebuhr as an expression of | ||||||
11 | our sympathy.
