1		SENATE RESOLUTION
2		WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3		learn of the death of Morris Joe Weiner; and
4		WHEREAS, Morris Weiner was a proud United States Army
5		veteran of World War II; he received the Purple Heart, the
6		Bronze Star, and a Letter of Accommodation from the President;
7		and
8		WHEREAS, Morris Weiner was the beloved husband and best
9		friend for 68 years of Thelma (Rosenberg); the loving father of
10		Marsha (Robert) Weinstein, Wendy (Michael) Baygood, and David
11		(Susie) Weiner; the cherished Papa of Beth (James) Wigoda,
12		Jennifer Baygood, Jeffrey (Sharon) Baygood, and Matthew
13		(Becca), Jacob, and Rebeca Weiner; the adored great Papa of
14		Elliana and Ethan Baygood and Mason Weiner; the devoted son of
15		the late Rose and Jacob Weiner; the dear brother of Sidney
16		(Shyrlene) Weiner and Esther (the late Bob) Davis; and
17		treasured uncle, cousin, and friend of many; therefore, be it
18		RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
19		ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
20		Morris Joe Weiner, and extend our sincere condolences to his
21		family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
22		further
