| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Timothy D. "Tim" Heimer, who passed away | ||||||
| 4 | on November 30, 2018; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Tim Heimer was born in Ottawa to Donald and Betty | ||||||
| 6 | (Huff) Heimer on September 6, 1960 and lived most of his life | ||||||
| 7 | in Channahon; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Tim Heimer was a member of the IBEW Local 176 for | ||||||
| 9 | 38 years and taught their fiber optics class for several years; | ||||||
| 10 | he was a trustee for the Village of Channahon for four years | ||||||
| 11 | and a member of the Chanooka Braves board for four years; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Tim Heimer devoted his life to his wife, children, | ||||||
| 13 | and grandchildren and received great joy and fulfillment from | ||||||
| 14 | spending time with them; he loved to hunt and fish and took | ||||||
| 15 | several trips to Canada to fish with his boys; he could always | ||||||
| 16 | be counted on when someone needed a hand; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Tim Heimer was preceded in death by his parents; | ||||||
| 18 | his brothers, Jim, Darrell, and Dave Heimer; and his | ||||||
| 19 | mother-in-law, Darlene (Fisher) Boyle; and
| ||||||
| 20 | WHEREAS, Tim Heimer is survived by his wife of almost 40 | ||||||

| 1 | years, Denise (Boyle) Heimer; his sons, Eric, Nicholas (Jill), | ||||||
| 2 | Dr. Kyle (Stephanie), and Gabriel Heimer; his grandchildren, | ||||||
| 3 | John, Sarah, Natalie, Grayson, Nathaniel, Norah, and Emilia | ||||||
| 4 | Heimer; his brothers, Larry (Mariko), Mike (Nicky), Jerry | ||||||
| 5 | (Vicki), and Jeffrey (Emily); his father-in-law, Leo Boyle; and | ||||||
| 6 | numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 7 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 8 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 9 | Timothy D. "Tim" Heimer and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
| 10 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
| 11 | further

| 12 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 13 | presented to the family of Tim Heimer as an expression of our | ||||||
| 14 | deepest sympathy.
