SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Elliott C. Satinover of Park Ridge, who
passed away on September 18, 2018; and
WHEREAS, Elliott Satinover was born on August 23, 1932; he
served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War; and
WHEREAS, Elliott Satinover was devoted to his family; he
was warm, quiet, and had a wonderful sense of humor; he enjoyed
gourmet cooking, BBQ, and woodworking; and
WHEREAS, Elliott Satinover was preceded in death by his
son, Gregg Satinover; and
WHEREAS, Elliott Satinover is survived by his wife of 62
years, Rosemary (Farley); his children, Susan (Mark) Kane and
Bob (Bonnie), Dan (Marie), and Tom (Allison) Satinover; his
grandchildren, Gregg (Deanna), Matt, and Carly Kane and
Jonathan, Meagan, Kelly, Rachel, and Maddie Satinover; his
great-grandchildren, Jaxson Satinover and Elle Rosemary Kane;
his sister, Mitzi Smetters; and many nieces, nephews, and
friends; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Elliott C. Satinover and extend our sincere condolences to his
family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Elliott Satinover as an expression
of our deepest sympathy.
