SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Victoria M. "Vicki" Culliton, who passed
away on October 19, 2018; and
WHEREAS, Vicki Culliton was born in Waukegan to Thomas and
Marie "Lana" (Watson) Salata on March 27, 1961; she married
James A. Culliton in 1985 and they resided in Gurnee before
moving to Wadsworth; and
WHEREAS, Vicki Culliton was a generous person who had a
kind heart; she was always willing to help out her family or a
friend and had opened her home to many over the years; she had
a good sense of humor and enjoyed a good laugh, but above all,
she always wanted to ensure that her sons, her family, and her
friends were taken care of; and
WHEREAS, Vicki Culliton was preceded in death by her
parents and her husband, James; and
WHEREAS, Vicki Culliton is survived by her sons, James T.
and Jeffery M. Culliton; her siblings, Dale, Peter (Jeannine),
Michael (Jeanne), and Kathleen (Myles Sobczak) Salata; her
special friend and "cuzzin wuzzin", Maureen Morrissey; her
aunts, Mary Alice Morrissey and Kay Watson; and numerous

nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Victoria M. "Vicki" Culliton and extend our sincere condolences
to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Vicki Culliton as an expression of
our deepest sympathy.
