| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Richard D. Heider of Moline, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on August 1, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Richard Heider was born on March 19, 1944 in | ||||||
6 | Orange County, California; his parents were Betty and Darrel | ||||||
7 | Kite; he married Pam Breedlove in 1975; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Richard Heider served in the United States Air | ||||||
9 | Force from 1966 to 1970; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Richard Heider earned a master's degree in | ||||||
11 | engineering from Texas A & M; he was employed at the Rock | ||||||
12 | Island Arsenal for 36 years; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Richard Heider was a very active member of the | ||||||
14 | First Christian Church in Moline for 41 years; he was also | ||||||
15 | active in Boy Scouts, Indian Guides, and sports with his boys; | ||||||
16 | and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Richard Heider was preceded in death by his | ||||||
18 | parents; his grandparents; and his brother; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, Richard Heider is survived by his wife, Pam; his |

| |||||||
1 | sons, Jason and Jeremy; his grandchildren, Sarah and Maddux; | ||||||
2 | and his sister, Linda Kelly; therefore, be it
| ||||||
3 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
4 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
5 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Richard D. Heider; and | ||||||
6 | be it further

7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
8 | presented to the family of Richard Heider as an expression of | ||||||
9 | our sympathy.
