2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Jack Edward Kincaid of Moline, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on October 7, 2018; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Jack Kincaid was born in Carbon Cliff to Homer | ||||||
6 | Franklin and Thelma Frary Kincaid on November 27, 1932; he | ||||||
7 | served in the U.S. Navy for four years and married Sandra | ||||||
8 | Wadsager in Silvis on July 11, 1959; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Jack Kincaid was a national customer service | ||||||
10 | executive for IBM, retiring in 1991 after 33 years with the | ||||||
11 | company; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Jack Kincaid enjoyed playing tennis, golf, | ||||||
13 | hiking, bicycling, and boat racing; above all else, he enjoyed | ||||||
14 | traveling and spending time with his family; he was an | ||||||
15 | especially proud grandpa; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Jack Kincaid was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
17 | and his brother and sister-in-law, William G. and Pat Kincaid, | ||||||
18 | and their son, Craig; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, Jack Kincaid is survived by his wife of 59 years, | ||||||
20 | Sandy; his son, John E. (Mary Gieselman) Kincaid; his daughter, |

1 | Susan J. (Mark) Dyer; his grandchildren, Alex Kincaid, Sarah | ||||||
2 | Dyer, Eric Dyer, and Amy Ball; his siblings, Judy (Bill) | ||||||

4 | and numerous in-laws and their families; therefore, be it

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
7 | Jack Edward Kincaid and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
8 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
