SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Danny D. Hudson of Lake in the Hills, who
passed away on June 10, 2016; and
WHEREAS, Danny Hudson was born to Paul and Mary Hudson on
August 11, 1940; he served in the United States Navy from 1958
to 1960 on the USS Essex; he was a resident of Lake in the Hills
for 47 years; and
WHEREAS, Danny Hudson was actively involved in the
community and served as a Village Trustee and President of the
Police Pension Board; he had passions for many things:
gardening, sailing, music, and a good old fashioned weenie
roast with his family; and
WHEREAS, Danny Hudson was preceded in death by his wife of
57 years, Joan Hudson; his daughter, Molly Hudson; his parents;
and his grandson, Jeff Hudson; and
WHEREAS, Danny Hudson is survived by his sons, Michael and
Mark; his daughter, Michele (Gerald) Kavanaugh; his
grandchildren, Michael, Travis, Tayler, Riley Hudson, and Kate
and Matthew Kavanaugh; his great-grandson, Jordan Hudson; his
sibling, Sandy Johnston; and many nieces, nephews,

great-nieces, and great-nephews; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Danny D. Hudson, and extend our sincere condolences to his
family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Danny Hudson as an expression of our
deepest sympathy.
