| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Jehangir
"John" Mobed on January 10, 2018 | ||||||
| 4 | at the age of 92; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, John Mobed was born on February 19, 1926; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, John Mobed volunteered at the West Suburban | ||||||
| 7 | Hospital and at the Oak Park Township,
where he helped seniors | ||||||
| 8 | with their taxes; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, John Mobed was a member of both the Toastmasters | ||||||
| 10 | and the Belles Lettres
organizations; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, John Mobed was the husband of Olive (Walton); the | ||||||
| 12 | father of Parvine (Mark)
MacDonald, Jim (Henrike) Mobed, and | ||||||
| 13 | Sue (Dan) Arends; the grandfather of Katelyn, Kristen,
and | ||||||
| 14 | David MacDonald, Edan and Claire Mobed, and DJ, Taylor, and | ||||||
| 15 | John Arends; the brother of
Banoo (Shahbaram) Shahzadi, Kai | ||||||
| 16 | (Parvin) Mobed, and the late Bahman (Nahid) Mobed; and the
| ||||||
| 17 | uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 20 | Jehangir "John" Mobed, and extend
our sincere condolences to | ||||||
