2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Ann Sallans Coyne; and
| ||||||
4 | WHEREAS, Ann Coyne was the daughter of Ambrose and Margaret | ||||||
5 | Ryan Sallans; she graduated from St. Angela School and | ||||||
6 | Providence High School with fond memories of the West Side; she | ||||||
7 | was married to Raymond F. Coyne Jr. for 65 years; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Anne Coyne was known for her selfless nature and | ||||||
9 | for always encouraging others to pursue adventures and follow | ||||||
10 | their dreams; she was very active in her community and parish | ||||||
11 | in the Austin neighborhood, while still caring for her two | ||||||
12 | children and managing a full-time job as a longtime employee of | ||||||
13 | Madigan's Department Store; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Ann Coyne was a scout leader; she was a former | ||||||
15 | resident of Mayslake Village of Oak Brook, Westmont, Elmwood | ||||||
16 | Park, and Chicago; she and her husband, Raymond, enjoyed | ||||||
17 | traveling in Europe and Central America with the Chicago Police | ||||||
18 | Sergeant's Association; and

19 | WHEREAS, Ann Coyne was preceded in death by her parents; | ||||||
20 | her husband, Raymond; her brothers, William (Rita) Sallans and | ||||||
21 | John (Evelyn) Sallans; and

1 | WHEREAS, Ann Coyne is survived by her children, Raymond | ||||||
2 | (Mary Madden) Coyne and Peggy Horan; her grandchildren, Heather | ||||||
3 | Horan (fiance Allen Grubbs), Holly Horan, Raymond (Kristin) | ||||||
4 | Coyne, Kathleen (Nicholas) Prause, Michael Coyne (fiance | ||||||
5 | Christina Weber), and Bridget (Aaron Myers) Coyne; her | ||||||
6 | great-grandchildren, Sloane Prause, Kara Coyne, Napoleon | ||||||
7 | Prause, Patrick Coyne, Rockwell Prause, and Tallulah Mae | ||||||
8 | Grubbs; and her sister, Mary (Richard) Munda; therefore, be it

9 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
10 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
11 | Ann Sallans Coyne and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
12 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
