2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Edward E. "Ed" Sadlowski, who passed away | ||||||
4 | on June 10, 2018; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Ed Sadlowski was born in Chicago to Edward and | ||||||
6 | Mildred (Sanders) Sadlowski on September 10, 1938; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Ed Sadlowski was a union activist and represented | ||||||
8 | thousands of steelworkers in Chicago and Gary, Indiana; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Ed Sadlowski was preceded in death by his parents; | ||||||
10 | and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Ed Sadlowski is survived by his wife, Marlene; his | ||||||
12 | children, Susan Garza, Patricia Hoyt, Edward Sadlowski Jr., and | ||||||
13 | Diane Agelson; his grandchildren, David Garza, Ryan Garza, Kate | ||||||
14 | Garza, Tyler Garza, Deanna Hoyt, Adrianne Hoyt, Faith | ||||||
15 | Sadlowski, Evelyn Sadlowski, Ed Sadlowski II, Angela Agelson, | ||||||
16 | and Hallee Agelson; and his great-grandchildren, Aria and Sofia | ||||||
17 | Garza; therefore, be it

18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
20 | Edward E. "Ed" Sadlowski, and extend our sincere condolences to |
