| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Dale S. O'Connor of Silvis, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on May 19, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Dale O'Connor was born on May 15, 1950 in Sault | ||||||
| 6 | Ste. Marie, Michigan; his parents were Bernard and Carol | ||||||
| 7 | Hillock O'Connor; he married Mary Ann Hicks on December 13, | ||||||
| 8 | 1969 in Erie; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Dale O'Connor was a United States Navy veteran, | ||||||
| 10 | having served in Vietnam aboard the USS Mount Hood; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Dale O'Connor worked for Carpenter Union Local 166 | ||||||
| 12 | in Rock Island for many years; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Dale O'Connor was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 14 | brother, Dennis; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Dale O'Connor is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; | ||||||
| 16 | his children, Shelly (Trent) Heath, Shannon (Michael) | ||||||
| 17 | Peterson, and Shiloh (Brandy) O'Connor; his six grandchildren; | ||||||
| 18 | his two step-grandchildren; his mother, Carol O'Connor; his | ||||||
| 19 | sister, Diane (Bernie) Paholke; his brothers, Don (Lynne) | ||||||
| 20 | O'Connor and Alan O'Connor; and his sister-in-law, Jenny | ||||||

| 2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 4 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Dale S. O'Connor; and | ||||||
| 5 | be it further
