| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Donald E. "Don" Mullins of Moline, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on June 30, 2018; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Don Mullins was born in Green Castle, Missouri to | ||||||
| 6 | Earl and Grace (Swanson) Mullins on March 26, 1937; he was a | ||||||
| 7 | veteran of the United States Army; he married Wilma Atherton, | ||||||
| 8 | and she preceded him in death; he later married Norma J. Estes | ||||||
| 9 | in Coal Valley on April 25, 1998; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Don Mullins worked at John Deere and retired after | ||||||
| 11 | 30 years; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Don Mullins attended Eagle Summit Church; he | ||||||
| 13 | enjoyed fishing and shrimping in Florida and spending time with | ||||||
| 14 | his family; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Don Mullins was preceded in death by his first | ||||||
| 16 | wife, Wilma; his parents; his stepdaughter, Linda Arnett; his | ||||||
| 17 | two brothers; and his three sisters; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Don Mullins is survived by his wife, Norma; his | ||||||
| 19 | stepdaughter, Cathy Atherton; his stepson, Randy (Chris) | ||||||
| 20 | Atherton; his stepson-in-law, Gary Arnett; his | ||||||

| 1 | stepgrandchildren, Ben Arnett and Brian Arnett; his | ||||||
| 2 | stepdaughter, Carol (Gary) Buck; his stepsons, Tim (Fran) Estes | ||||||
| 3 | and Jon (Tabatha) Estes; his stepdaughter, Leia (Tom) Peterson; | ||||||
| 4 | his ten stepgrandchildren; his seven stepgreat-grandchildren; | ||||||
| 5 | his special cousin, Wilma; and his special friend, Dr. Ed | ||||||

| 7 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 8 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 9 | Donald E. "Don" Mullins and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
| 10 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
