2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of David A. "Dave" Suter of Lombard, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on January 18, 2015; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Dave Suter was born in Dubuque, Iowa to Frederick | ||||||
6 | and Lucille Suter on August 23, 1951; his family eventually | ||||||
7 | settled in Elmhurst, and he graduated from Addison Trail High | ||||||
8 | School; he served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1974 and was | ||||||
9 | awarded the National Defense Service Medal and a Certificate | ||||||
10 | for Achievement Specialist; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Dave Suter was a carpenter by trade and worked on | ||||||
12 | many of the buildings in the Chicago area; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Dave Suter enjoyed working with his hands, | ||||||
14 | gardening, grilling, fishing, and home improvement projects; | ||||||
15 | and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Dave Suter was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
17 | and his stepgranddaughter, Lucy Klein; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Dave Suter is survived by his wife, Carmel; his | ||||||
19 | daughter, Jen Suter; his stepchildren, Rob (Brittany) Klein, | ||||||
20 | Carrie (Jo) Marczuk, Kris Klein, and Sara and Jude Demuro; his |

9 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
10 | David A. "Dave" Suter, and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
11 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
