SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Donald R. "Don" Robaczewski of McHenry,
who passed away on May 22, 2018; and
WHEREAS, Don Robaczewski was born in Chicago to James and
Theresa (Sheffke) Robaczewski on November 9, 1937; he married
Camille M. Pace at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Chicago on
August 31, 1957; and
WHEREAS, Don Robaczewski worked for U. S. Waterproofing; he
later was employed by W. W. Grainger before starting a 25-year
career with Argus Press, where he was a maintenance engineer;
and
WHEREAS, Don Robaczewski was a talented handyman and a
behind the scenes jack-of-all-trades; he was a devoted member
of St. John the Baptist Church and proudly served as a Fourth
Degree Knight with Knights of Columbus Council 9167; and
WHEREAS, Don Robaczewski was preceded in death by his
parents and his loving wife, Camille; and
WHEREAS, Don Robaczewski is survived by his children,
Thomas (Marilyn) Robaczewski, Therese "Terri" (Ronald) Malek,

Daniel (Michelle) Robaczewski, and Denise Robaczewski; his
grandchildren, Kimberly (Matthew) Smith, Thomas Robaczewski,
Morgan Malek, and Madelyn Malek; and his great-grandchild,
Kennedy Marie Smith; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Donald R. "Don" Robaczewski, and extend our sincere condolences
to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Don Robaczewski as an expression of
our deepest sympathy.
