2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Donald R. "Don" Robaczewski of McHenry, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on May 22, 2018; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Don Robaczewski was born in Chicago to James and | ||||||
6 | Theresa (Sheffke) Robaczewski on November 9, 1937; he married | ||||||
7 | Camille M. Pace at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Chicago on | ||||||
8 | August 31, 1957; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Don Robaczewski worked for U. S. Waterproofing; he | ||||||
10 | later was employed by W. W. Grainger before starting a 25-year | ||||||
11 | career with Argus Press, where he was a maintenance engineer; | ||||||
12 | and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Don Robaczewski was a talented handyman and a | ||||||
14 | behind the scenes jack-of-all-trades; he was a devoted member | ||||||
15 | of St. John the Baptist Church and proudly served as a Fourth | ||||||
16 | Degree Knight with Knights of Columbus Council 9167; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Don Robaczewski was preceded in death by his | ||||||
18 | parents and his loving wife, Camille; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, Don Robaczewski is survived by his children, | ||||||
20 | Thomas (Marilyn) Robaczewski, Therese "Terri" (Ronald) Malek, |

1 | Daniel (Michelle) Robaczewski, and Denise Robaczewski; his | ||||||
2 | grandchildren, Kimberly (Matthew) Smith, Thomas Robaczewski, | ||||||
3 | Morgan Malek, and Madelyn Malek; and his great-grandchild, | ||||||
4 | Kennedy Marie Smith; therefore, be it

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
7 | Donald R. "Don" Robaczewski, and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||
8 | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | ||||||
9 | it further

10 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
