| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Tiara Michelle Parks, who passed away on | ||||||
| 4 | April 23, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Tiara Parks was born on August 5, 1992 to Michael | ||||||
| 6 | and Loretta Parks; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Tiara Parks attended Chicago International | ||||||
| 8 | Charter School-Longwood Academy from kindergarten through 12th | ||||||
| 9 | grade, graduating in 2010; she attended college at Southern | ||||||
| 10 | Illinois University at Edwardsville and Coyne College, where | ||||||
| 11 | she earned her degree in the Medical Assistant Program; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Tiara Parks will be remembered fondly as an | ||||||
| 13 | intelligent and very ambitious person who loved her family and | ||||||
| 14 | friends; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Tiara Parks is survived by her son, Jordyn, and | ||||||
| 16 | his father, Berto Mora; her parents; her brother, Derrick | ||||||
| 17 | (Latasha) Smith; her nieces, Jada, Janiya, and Jakayln; her | ||||||
| 18 | nephew, Jordan; her paternal grandmother, Arwildia Parks; and | ||||||
| 19 | many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 20 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||

| 1 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||
| 2 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Tiara Michelle Parks; | ||||||
