| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Donald Lee Paulsen Sr. of Beach Park, | ||||||
| 4 | formerly of Waukegan, who passed away on March 6, 2018; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Donald Paulsen Sr. was born in Lake Forest to | ||||||
| 6 | Holger and Ada Paulsen on March 24, 1936; he served in the | ||||||
| 7 | United States Marine Corp from 1954 until 1959; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Donald Paulsen Sr. retired from Peter Baker & Son | ||||||
| 9 | Co. in 2000 and from Larsen Marine after nearly 20 years of | ||||||
| 10 | service; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Donald Paulsen Sr. was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 12 | parents; his son, Robert Paulsen; and his sister, Dorothy | ||||||
| 13 | Wheatley; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Donald Paulsen Sr. is survived by his wife of 49 | ||||||
| 15 | years, Dianne; his sons, Michael (Marcella) Paulsen and Donnie | ||||||
| 16 | (Suzanne Allie) Paulsen; his ten grandchildren; his two | ||||||
| 17 | great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; | ||||||
| 18 | therefore, be it

| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 20 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||

| 1 | Donald Lee Paulsen Sr. and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
| 2 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
