SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Diane J. "Dee" LaRock, formerly of
4McHenry, who passed away on October 14, 2014; and
5 WHEREAS, Diane LaRock was born in Chicago on May 27, 1948;
6she graduated from Forest View High School in Arlington Heights
7and married Wayne Paul LaRock; and
8 WHEREAS, Diane LaRock worked at CRV Electronics in McHenry
9during the 1980s and later worked at McHenry Middle School as a
10teacher's assistant; and
11 WHEREAS, Affectionately known as "Nana", Diane LaRock
12enjoyed playing dominoes, cribbage, and spoons, and sharing
13crochet patterns with her granddaughters; she also enjoyed
14story time, cuddles, and playing with her grandson; her hobbies
15included swimming, boating, crocheting, taking care of her
16German Shepherds, and shopping at Hobby Lobby and Kirkland's;
17she and her husband retired to Port St. Lucie, Florida; and
18 WHEREAS, Diane LaRock was preceded in death by her birth
19parents, Jacob and Helen Urlich, and a sister, Eileen Adeszko;

1 WHEREAS, Diane LaRock is survived by her parents, John
2"Jack" and Mildred "Millie" Clarke; her husband, Wayne; 4
3children, Dawn (Victor "Jay" Beyer), Todd (Michele Clare),
4Scott (Jenna Rice), and Keith (Kimberly Simonetta);
5grandchildren, Julie and Denise Beyer and Blake LaRock; and
6many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews;
7therefore, be it
8 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Diane J. "Dee" LaRock, and extend our sincere condolences to
11her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
12further
13 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Diane LaRock as an expression of our
15deepest sympathy.
