2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Delphine Marie Przyborski of Crystal |
4 | | Lake, who passed away on September 28, 2014; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Delphine Przyborski was born in Chicago on |
6 | | November 11, 1929 to John and Agnes Biernat; and
|
7 | | WHEREAS, Delphine Przyborski was a milliner by trade and |
8 | | made hats for the rich and famous on Michigan Avenue; she was a |
9 | | cook, hostess, and seamstress, and her talents included |
10 | | entertaining and designing anything from Halloween costumes to |
11 | | wedding gowns and veils; she was instrumental in getting a |
12 | | library built for her neighborhood in Chicago and was a Girl |
13 | | Scout leader and Cub Scout Den Mother while her children were |
14 | | growing up; she was always willing to share her love, time, and |
15 | | talents in her church and community; her most cherished |
16 | | ministry at her church was the St. Jude's prayer group, but |
17 | | what made her most proud was the joy she received in raising |
18 | | her large family; and
|
19 | | WHEREAS, Delphine Przyborski was preceded in death by her |
20 | | parents and godchild, Harrison McCray; and
|
21 | | WHEREAS, Delphine Przyborski is survived by her loving |

13 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
14 | | Delphine Marie Przyborski, and extend our sincere condolences |
15 | | to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be |
