2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Jay A. Stabler of Elgin, who passed away | ||||||
4 | on February 12, 2018; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Jay Stabler was born in Princeton to James and | ||||||
6 | Marie (Davis) Stabler on November 9, 1945 and served in the | ||||||
7 | U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Jay Stabler worked as a computer programmer for | ||||||
9 | over 20 years; upon retirement, he decided to drive for Pace in | ||||||
10 | Elgin; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Jay Stabler enjoyed golf, traveling, and his | ||||||
12 | Harley Davidson, but most of all he loved and enjoyed his | ||||||
13 | family; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Jay Stabler was preceded in death by his father, | ||||||
15 | James; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Jay Stabler is survived by his wife, Nancy; his | ||||||
17 | daughter, Andrea Marie; his mother, Marie; his sisters, Dona | ||||||
18 | Becker and Margaret (Gene) Swanson; his mother-in-law, Eleanor | ||||||
19 | Redmer; his sister-in-law, Janice (Jack) Ziegler; his | ||||||
20 | brother-in-law, Raymond Redmer Jr.; his brother-in-law, |

3 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
4 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
5 | Jay A. Stabler, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
6 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
