| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Clifford "Cliff" Kamholz of Marengo, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on February 27, 2018; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Cliff Kamholz was born in Belvidere to Walter and | ||||||
| 6 | Nellie (Bielema) Kamholz on August 16, 1947; he married Shirley | ||||||
| 7 | E. Willis in Marengo on August 16, 1947; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Cliff Kamholz was Marengo's Borden milkman for | ||||||
| 9 | many years; he retired from Warner Electric, where he was a | ||||||
| 10 | delivery driver, in 1990; after his retirement, he was a | ||||||
| 11 | part-time bartender for Sam's Tavern in Marengo for 22 years; | ||||||
| 12 | and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Cliff Kamholz coached Marengo Little League and | ||||||
| 14 | Babe Ruth baseball, as well as men's fast pitch softball; he | ||||||
| 15 | enjoyed golf, bowling, and a good pinochle game; he was an avid | ||||||
| 16 | fan of the Chicago Cubs; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Cliff Kamholz was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 18 | parents; his wife, Shirley; his infant daughter, Nancy; his | ||||||
| 19 | son, Gary; his brother, Wilbur; and his sister, Beverly; and
| ||||||
| 20 | WHEREAS, Cliff Kamholz is survived by his children, Greg | ||||||

| 1 | Kamholz and Connie (Bill) Davidson; his daughter-in-law, | ||||||
| 2 | Jackie Kamholz; his grandchildren, Cory (Katie) Kamholz, Adam | ||||||
| 3 | Kamholz, Tyler (Tammy) Kamholz, Zachary (Karley) Davidson, | ||||||
| 4 | Cole (Beth) Davidson, and Alex (Dan) Krahl; and his | ||||||
| 5 | great-grandchildren, Elise and Will Kamholz, Anabell Kamholz, | ||||||
| 6 | Theadore Davidson, and Luci Davidson; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 7 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 8 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 9 | Clifford "Cliff" Kamholz and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
| 10 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
