2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Mark J. "Stosh" Sompolski of Waukegan, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on February 16, 2018; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Mark Sompolski was born in Chicago to Ralph and | ||||||
6 | Doris Sompolski on April 6, 1953; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Mark Sompolski worked at Cardinal Health Care for | ||||||
8 | 42 years; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Mark Sompolski was an avid fan of the Chicago | ||||||
10 | Bears and the Chicago Cubs; he enjoyed golfing and fishing; he | ||||||
11 | had a large-than-life personality that made people laugh; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Mark Sompolski was preceded in death by his | ||||||
13 | parents; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Mark Sompolski is survived by his wife of 35 | ||||||
15 | years, Diane; his daughters, Tracy (Steven) Welch and Kelly | ||||||
16 | (Tom) Goggin; his grandson, Aiden Welch; his sister, Debbie | ||||||
17 | (John) Hutter; his brothers, Bruce (Diane), Daniel (Brenda), | ||||||
18 | James (Tani), Peter (Elizabeth), and Anthony; his many nieces | ||||||
19 | and nephews; his in-laws, Richard and Lois Kassel; and his many | ||||||
20 | friends; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Mark J. "Stosh" Sompolski and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
4 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
