| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Standard Lee Jr., who passed away on | ||||||
| 4 | January 5, 2018; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Standard Lee Jr. was born in Panola, Alabama to | ||||||
| 6 | Jannie and Standard Lee Sr. on October 8, 1948; affectionately | ||||||
| 7 | known as "Bay Bay", he was the sibling to five brothers and six | ||||||
| 8 | sisters; he received his formal education from the Chicago | ||||||
| 9 | Public Schools; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Standard Lee Jr. was employed by Westinghouse | ||||||
| 11 | Electric; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Standard Lee Jr. was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 13 | siblings, Lonnie and Sadie "Pinkie"; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Standard Lee Jr. is survived by his brothers and | ||||||
| 15 | sisters, Daniel, Jerry, Geraldine, Bob, Betty, Delores, | ||||||
| 16 | Elaine, Wilbert, and Gloria; his sons, Reggie and Brandon; his | ||||||
| 17 | grandsons, Reginald Jr., Terrell, and Deshawn; his | ||||||
| 18 | great-granddaughter, Brandi; his great-grandson, Ashton; and | ||||||
| 19 | his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and | ||||||
| 20 | extended family; therefore, be it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 3 | Standard Lee Jr. and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
| 4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
| 5 | further
| ||||||
| 6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 7 | presented to the family of Standard Lee Jr. as an expression of | ||||||
