2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Curtis L. Tannahill of Coal Valley, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on January 13, 2018; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Curt Tannahill was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota | ||||||
6 | to Dwayne and Hazel Reynolds Tannahill on June 26, 1943; he was | ||||||
7 | a veteran and proudly served in the United States Army; he | ||||||
8 | married Maylouise "Missy" Frels in Moline on October 5, 1991; | ||||||
9 | and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Curt Tannahill worked as an assembler at Case IH | ||||||
11 | in East Moline; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Curt Tannahill was a member and steward of the | ||||||
13 | United Auto Workers 1304; he enjoyed his yearly hunting trips | ||||||
14 | and golfing with his good friends; he liked to be outdoors and | ||||||
15 | enjoyed working in his yard and his fish pond; above all, he | ||||||
16 | loved being with his family and friends; and

17 | WHEREAS, Curt Tannahill was preceded in death by his | ||||||
18 | parents; and his two sisters; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, Curt Tannahill is survived by his wife, Maylouise, | ||||||
20 | his daughter, Shelly (Doug) Buller; his sons, Todd (Eileen) |

2 | Jennifer (David) Schenk; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Catie, | ||||||

4 | great-grandchildren, Selena and Valerina; therefore, be it

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
7 | Curtis L. Tannahill and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
8 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
9 | further

10 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
