2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Elsie Lenora Hall of Creve Coeur, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on January 18, 2018; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Elsie Hall was born in Ruble, Missouri to George | ||||||
6 | Thomas and Nellie (Gilmer) Sutton on December 9, 1929; she | ||||||
7 | married Charles D. Hall in Harrison, Arkansas on April 17, | ||||||
8 | 1948; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Elsie Hall was a homemaker early in her life; she | ||||||
10 | then worked at Steak 'n Shake in Pekin and East Peoria; she | ||||||
11 | later worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Apostolic | ||||||
12 | Christian Restmor in Morton; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Elsie Hall enjoyed playing Bingo and the lottery | ||||||
14 | and going out to eat; she was an avid fan of the St. Louis | ||||||
15 | Cardinals and a lifelong Democrat; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Elsie Hall was preceded in death by her husband, | ||||||
17 | Charles Hall; her parents; her son, Howard Hall; her | ||||||
18 | granddaughter, Chrissy Hall; her three brothers; and her | ||||||
19 | sister; and
| ||||||
20 | WHEREAS, Elsie Hall is survived by her sons, Gary (Betty) |

1 | Hall and Charles (Diane) Hall; her daughters, Carol (Terry) | ||||||
2 | Dickson, June (Jerry) Gould, Cheryl Shaver, and Brenda Auer; | ||||||
3 | her 13 grandchildren; her 12 great-grandchildren; and her | ||||||
4 | daughter-in-law, Marilyn Hall; therefore, be it

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
7 | Elsie Lenora Hall and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
8 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
9 | further
