SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Robert W. Sharp of Northbrook, who passed
away on November 6, 2017; and
WHEREAS, Robert Sharp served with the Third Infantry
Regiment during World War II and with the 308th Military
Government Group during the Korean War; and
WHEREAS, Robert Sharp retired from Chapman and Cutler,
where he was a partner; and
WHEREAS, Robert Sharp was the beloved husband of Elizabeth
Mack Sharp, the late Barbara Price Sharp, and the late Donelda
Eagle Sharp; the dearly loved father of Joan (Brian) Reed and
Susan Frazier; the adored "dad" of Charles (Kate) Mack, Martha
(Bob) Grey, Rebecca Mack (Tim Frothingham), Julian (Amy) Mack,
and Sarah Mack (Matt Widman); the loving grandfather of Kate
Reed, Michelle and Nathaniel Frazier, Forrest Mack, Eleanor
Mack, Rachel and Hannah Grey, Julian, Nathaniel, Henry, and
Benjamin Hagood, Katya and Mahalia Mack, and Mariah, Ilia, and
Sylvana Widman; the great-grandfather of four; the dearest son
of the late Donna and William Sharp; and the best friend to
Arthur, the family's beloved Corgi; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Robert W. Sharp and extend our sincere condolences to his
family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Robert Sharp as an expression of our
deepest sympathy.
