SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Tori Renee Carroll of Alhambra and
Staunton, who passed away on November 30, 2017; and
WHEREAS, Tori Carroll was born in Alton to Kevin and Tricia
Carroll on August 19, 1997; she earned a Bachelor's Degree in
Criminal Justice with a minor in Legal Studies from Murray
State University in 2017, where she worked in the office of
Student Support Services; she was a law student at Chase
College of Law at Northern Kentucky University; and
WHEREAS, Tori Carroll was a member of Zion Lutheran Church
and a member of the Tri Sigma Alumnae Sorority; and
WHEREAS, Tori Carroll is survived by her parents; her
boyfriend, Chris "Biz" Bizzle; her grandparents, Tom and
Annette Crosley; her aunts and uncles, Valeri and Jerry Vallade
and Mike and Stephanie Crosley; her adopted grandparents, Al
and Lori Scheller; her adopted aunts and uncles, Sean and Angie
Abernathy and Tim and Jerilyn Copeland; and her cousins, Alex,
Nick, Luke, Logan, Michael, Ty, and Ashton; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

Tori Renee Carroll and extend our sincerest condolences to her
family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Tori Carroll as an expression of our
