2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Ronald H. Brown of Milan, who passed away | ||||||
4 | on November 18, 2017; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Ronald Brown was born in Peoria to Betty Diehl on | ||||||
6 | January 27, 1941; he was a veteran of the United States Navy; | ||||||
7 | he married Jacqueline M. Maskovich in Reno, Nevada on January | ||||||
8 | 14, 1961; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Ronald Brown worked as a heavy machine operator | ||||||
10 | for Moline Consumer Co-General Sand and Gravel, Milan for 33 | ||||||
11 | years; he was a member of the International Union of Operation | ||||||
12 | Engineers, Local 150; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Ronald Brown was a proud union man; he was an avid | ||||||
14 | fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Beatles; he enjoyed | ||||||
15 | crossword puzzles; and

16 | WHEREAS, Ronald Brown was preceded in death by his wife, | ||||||
17 | Jacqueline; and his mother; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Ronald Brown is survived by his children, Todd | ||||||
19 | (Teresa) Brown, Lora Parmentier, Darcy Lievens, and Derek | ||||||
20 | Brown; his 14 grandchildren; and his two great-grandchildren; |

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
4 | Ronald H. Brown and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
5 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
6 | further

7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
8 | presented to the family of Ronald Brown as an expression of our | ||||||
9 | deepest sympathy.
